Online Poker Sites was built for one job: helping US poker players work out which offshore poker sites are worth their time and money, without wading through marketing copy to find out. Online poker isn't regulated at a federal level in the United States, and only a handful of states run their own licensed networks, so most American players end up looking at offshore operators instead. That gap is exactly what this site exists to cover.

What We Actually Do Here

How We Score and Rank Sites

Every site on Online Poker Sites is assessed against the same core set of factors:

• Player traffic and liquidity — how easy it is to find a game at your stakes, in cash games, MTTs, Sit & Gos, or Spin-style formats
• Game quality — the balance of recreational players to regulars, since a soft field matters more than a big lobby
• Rake and rewards — how the rake structure compares, and whether rakeback or a loyalty scheme offsets it
• Bonus terms — the size of a welcome offer weighed against its playthrough or clearing requirements, not just the headline number
• Banking — available deposit and withdrawal methods, typical cash-out times, and any fees
• Platform — software stability, mobile app quality, and whether HUD or tracking software is supported
• Licensing and trust signals — what regulatory or licensing information the operator publishes, and how transparent it is about fund handling

We want to be clear about one thing: a site's position on our list is never for sale. Why We Cover Offshore Sites Specifically

Because online poker regulation in the US is fragmented — a handful of states run licensed, regulated poker, and there's no federal framework connecting them — most American players outside those states are choosing between offshore operators licensed elsewhere, often in jurisdictions like Curaçao or Malta. That changes the questions worth asking: not just "is the game good," but "is my money handled properly, is the operator transparent about licensing, and what happens if a withdrawal is delayed." Our reviews try to answer those questions directly rather than gloss over them, and we flag limitations honestly, including for sites at the top of our list.

What This Site Won't Do

We won't tell you poker is a reliable way to make money, and we won't suggest that being good at the game removes the risk of losing. It doesn't.
